Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

Galatians 3:2-3

Sarcasm... sometimes it just really gets the attention of those who enjoy to dish it out a bit... or a lot like myself. Paul is asking a very simple and sarcastic question. Rob, did you receive the Spirit by works, by going to church, by doing your good little deeds? Are you working right now to think that if you do some good stuff that God will then owe you something? Rob, when do you ever do something that barters with God... NEVER. God is the giver and I am the receiver.

Lord, please forgive me for ever trying to earn your love, trying to prove that I was a good pick, trying to work in my flesh to my own glory. Please help me always remember that it is From YOU, Through YOU and To YOU. The only thing I bring to the table is a broken heart with a hunger and thirst for you. Then, you fill me according to your good measure for your good works for your glory.
