When I think about the commandments of the Lord, I usually start to focus on me and where I don't measure up. I think about the things that I should be doing... more of... or less of... Its an easy trap... trying to earn God's love through my obedience... or being discouraged through my disobedience. Lord, set my mind on the truth of your word.

Lord, I desire for you to simply talk with me through your commandments and your Word. Cause my obedience to be an overflow of my love for you. Cause me to be zealous for repentance and a beggar of your Holy Spirit. Lord I long for relationship with you so that you would conform me into a useful vessel.
