Walk with Jesus

Have you ever found yourself asking “where was God?” Where was He when…Where was He when she or he…Why did He allow me to be addicted to meth, porn, gambling, alcohol? Why did He allow all of the pain of loss of a loved one, a fellow Soldier, a spouse, a home, a job…etc.

He was there….

He’s always there….

Always has been, and always will be!

The Lord Is My Shepherd

[23:1] The LORD is my shepherd (a care taker – the next few verses show what He does for us); I shall not want. [2] He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. (He is always with you)[3] He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death (what is your valley of death? Did you feel lost, alone, wander where He was? He was there with you never letting go), I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. [5] You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
(Psalm 23 ESV)

Prayerfully ask Him “what you were supposed to learn?” Thank Him for that pain, that sanctification of purification to make us more like Him, little by little, piece by piece. You Valley of the Shadow of Death is your time in the University of God! Your trials, struggles, and tribulations equal your Degree in Jesus. That education in ministry is something that no one can take from you – your testimony. Your “education” has piece by piece created in you a ministry to glorify the Great Creator to show Him to someone that you will encounter. Your JOY is that He loved you enough to take you through that trial so you would be more like Him.

Its time to put that education to use and share Him with the unbelieving world…will you accept that mission and be with those who now walk where you have once walked? Will you give your heart and compassion to give a brother or sister a hand up…
Join me in this glorious mission, lets follow our Commander in Chief Jesus to shine His light in this dark world!

Father God –
I pray that our hearts would be opened to Your will in a way that we have never known. I pray that we would be a renewed new creation fixed on the obedience if Your commands and Your love, Your compassion for the lost.

I thank you and I praise you…in Jesus amazing name

Amen
