Word of the Day

Proverbs 22:3; Psalm 51; Isaiah 1

Today there is a common theme about sin and what God wants us to do. He is even giving a warning in the Proverbs verse about being aware of sin and that a prudent man sees the evil coming and avoids the sin. I catch myself many times battling the mind. When I am doing my yard it seems that I do a lot of thinking to myself which is very dangerous. Even though I am listening to music to help distract my thoughts I can go down a path of destruction. These verses remind me of what God wants from His people.

Thank you Heavenly Father for You have given me Your Words to dwell on in difficult circumstances. Please Father keep my thoughts on You and Your truth so that I may not sin against You. Lord please convict me immediately of my hurtful thoughts. I pray Father that my spirit would be broken and contrite. Thank you for Your forgiveness and Jesus paying the penalty that I deserve. In Jesus Christ precious name, Amen.
