Psalm 139:13-14

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Two Births

One was my physical birth ... thanks God for making me and thanks Mom for bringing me into this world. The second was my spiritual birth (being born again) ... thanks God for Your love that sent Jesus to die for my sins and Your mercy and grace that drew me to You ... bringing Me into Your world (kingdom).

Solomon wrote in Psalm 127:3, "Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward."

A small portion of God's Word to ponder on a day we honor our mothers.
