Open Handed Topics

There are some topics that are debatable and/or not as clear in Scripture. These different views can co-exist since these topics are not essential for salvation. These differences, however, should never be the source of divisiveness as we have freedom to follow our own convictions on non-essential issues. All non-essential convictions should, however, still hold the Bible as the final authority and strive to maintain unity within the body of Christ.

Eschatology

We believe, according to His promise that Jesus will physically return for His people. This truth has been revealed to provide the believer comfort and encouragement in this life. Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:13-18

Spiritual Gifts

While we believe “spiritual gifts” are given to every believer at the moment of salvation, we do not believe that the gift of tongues (or any other individual spiritual gift) is required as or evidence of salvation.
