Sunday Gatherings

We have two gatherings on Sunday mornings: 8:30 and 10:30.

We gather for several reasons: fellowship, thanksgiving, praise, worship, hearing the Word of God.

We have fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We share one another’s joys and heartbreaks. We pray together. We help anyway we can. We encourage and support.

We are admonished to “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 100:4-5. NASB

Therefore, we thank the Lord for His wonderful plan of salvation, for redeeming us from sin, for filling us with His joy, and for giving us a marvelous hope.

Next, we praise the Lord for who He is and who Jesus is. We praise Him for His mercy and for adopting us as His sons and daughters. We praise Him that He changes not, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Then we worship. Jesus said that we would worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Worship is an attitude of the heart. It is loving Him for who He is.

Now that we have done these things, we are in God’s courts where we can hear Him speak to us through His Word. We can hear with the ears of our heart, not just with the ears of our minds.

We invite you to come and worship with us.
